The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires a strong understanding of periodontal surgical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Duties Assist doctors during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Maintain infection control protocols by adhering to established guidelines and procedures. Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, including setting up equipment for various dental procedures and cleaning the rooms after. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. IV insertion training a plus, but we do provide certification courses as this is a non negotiable job duty. Assist in All-On-Four cases, surgical extractions, osseous surgery, tissue grafting, implant debridement, and other surgical periodontal procedures. Experience Previous experience as a surgical Assistant is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates with general dentistry knowledge and who are eager to learn. Familiarity with dental systems such as Dentrix is advantageous. Knowledge of infection control standards in a clinical setting is essential.
