Job Description:

Beach Family Dentistry is seeking a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented team member to join our team Monday through Thursday in a dual role as a Dental Assistant in the mornings and a Checkout & Treatment Planning Coordinator in the afternoons. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys both clinical and patient-facing administrative work in a supportive, family-centered practice.•

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday:

8:00 AM

• 5:00 PM No Fridays. No weekends. No evenings!

Responsibilities:

Morning (Chairside Dental Assistant): Assist the dentist and hygienist with patient care Take digital x-rays and iTero scans Sterilize instruments and prepare operatories Ensure clinical areas are clean and fully stocked Afternoon (Checkout & Treatment Planning Coordinator): Review completed treatment and explain charges to patients Present treatment plans with financial and insurance breakdowns Schedule follow-up appointments and specialty referrals Collect payments and coordinate financing options when applicable Ensure seamless communication between clinical and front office teams Deliver a smooth, friendly checkout experience to every patient

• Qualifications:

  Dental assisting experience preferred SC X-ray Certification (or ability to obtain) Experience with treatment coordination or case presentation is a plus Knowledge of dental software (Open Dental experience is ideal) Strong communication, professionalism, and multitasking abilities Organized, team-oriented, and dependable
