Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Utilize 3D scanners for creating accurate impressions and models. Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records using software such as Epic or Eaglesoft. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow within the office. Perform basic administrative tasks, including filing insurance claims and handling medical coding. Stay updated on the latest developments in dental assisting practices and technologies. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging is essential. Familiarity with prosthodontics is a plus. Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic or Eaglesoft is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
