The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during procedures. We are a longstanding expanding private practice and not in network. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to assist in various dental procedures. The dental assistant will work closely with the dentists and other staff to provide exceptional care to our patients. Our hours are Monday -Thursday, 8-4 PM. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays). Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic. Utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions. Perform basic administrative tasks. Monitor vital signs when necessary, ensuring patient safety throughout their visit. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control measures is essential. Familiarity with dental coding is a plus. Proficient in using dental equipment, including 3D scanners. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience working with Exocad or 3Shape and 3D printing is preferred.
