Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. We work a set 32 hours a week Monday

• Thursday.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of dental terminology, receptionist duties, pediatric dentistry, medical documentation, Eaglesoft software, infection control protocols, prosthodontics, vital signs monitoring, 3D scanning technology, and experience in a dental clinic setting.

Duties:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
• Sterilize dental instruments following OSHA guidelines
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
• Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
• Perform various office tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
• X-ray certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental software
• Experience in infection control procedures in a dental setting
• Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and document medical information
