Position Summary:

We’re seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to support our team and ensure smooth clinical operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in attention to detail, enjoys working closely with patients, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities Chairside Support:

Assist dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring patient comfort.

Room Preparation:

Clean, disinfect, and set up treatment rooms between appointments, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready.

Radiography:

Take intraoral and extraoral dental X-rays; develop and process images according to safety protocols.

Infection Control & Records:

Sterilize and organize instruments; accurately maintain patient records and charting.

Patient Education:

Review oral hygiene instructions, demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques, and answer patient questions.

Lab Duties:

Perform basic lab tasks, including casting study models and fabricating temporary crowns.

Inventory Management:

Monitor supply levels, place orders for dental materials and office stock, and coordinate deliveries. Qualifications Completed a Dental Assisting program or equivalent. Current certification/registration as required by [State] (e.g., CDA, RDA). Experience with dental X-ray equipment and digital imaging. Familiarity with infection control standards (OSHA, CDC guidelines). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered attitude. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
