We are seeking a dedicated Registered or Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our top notch dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and the ability to work effectively as part of a high quality team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Make dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental clinic is organized, clean, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Support procedures in general, cosmetic, implant, prosthetic, and oral surgical dentistry. Collaborate with and support the dental team to enhance patient and staff comfort and satisfaction. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: General dentistry Four-handed dentistry techniques Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge Proficiency in using dental software: Eaglesoft Previous experience preferred.
