Dental Assistant/EFDA Dental Strategic 2823 Highway 31 West, White House, TN 37188 EFDA or Dental Assistant – White House, TN The Smile Center in White House, TN is seeking a qualified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant to join their team on a full-time schedule. This is a modernized, state-of-the-art, 11 op private dental practice using the latest products and technologies. They are looking for an assistant to step in and continue their great reputation in the White House community as the most patient-friendly destination for all dental needs. This assistant will work with the doctor and other team members to help make the office more efficient and provide a high-quality experience for patients. The practice is seeking someone who is also looking for a long-term dental home where they will be a long-term fit.
Responsibilities:
Work with patients and children to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment Collection and recording of patient health histories Accurately recording dental records to completely reflect the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient and the care or treatment provided Dental charting Educate and review dental treatment options, including billing and payment options Sterilize dental instruments Preparation of dental materials, cements, composites, impression materials, etc. Prevention and management of dental medical emergencies Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments
Requirements:
Registered Dental Assistant License in Tennessee with Radiology Certificate Professional experience working as a Dental Assistant Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations Outgoing and willing to work in a very busy environment Excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable
