Position Summary:
As an EFDA, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical support and helping us deliver the WOW at every visit. You will perform expanded duties under the supervision of a licensed dentist while ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities:
Place restorations after dentist preparation (amalgam/composite) Take and pour impressions, fabricate temporary crowns and bridges Take radiographs (X-rays) as needed Assist the dentist during procedures with chairside support Sterilize and prepare instruments and operatories Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Maintain accurate patient records and charting Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards
Qualifications:
Active EFDA certification/license in the state of Tennessee Completion of an accredited dental assisting program Radiology certification required CPR certification (current) Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic
