Our ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a positive patient experience. Duties Assist the dentist during various dental procedures Be flexible with being needed in other areas of the office Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Take digital X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate medical record keeping using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft Manage patient appointments and follow-up care, ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the clinic. Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment. Skills Proficiency in dental terminology Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and practices. Experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft Knowledge of taking X-rays and understanding radiographic principles. Strong organizational skills for managing medical records efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. Capability to monitor vital signs accurately.
