We are looking for a fun, friendly, and hardworking team member to join our practice! We are currently seeking a dental assistant to be a part of our hygiene team! Dental assistants that are cross trained for front desk are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and break down of dental operatories Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment Perform coronal polishing, take radiographs, and apply sealants Assist Dr. Robyn with restorative procedures Communicate effectively with parents and children to ensure they feel comfortable and informed during their visit Educate parents and children on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date If cross trained as a front desk team member, you may be asked to help with front desk duties, which include: Maintaining patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date provide insurance preauthorizations, verification of benefits, etc. answer phone calls and online patient inquiries schedule appointments and maintain the daily schedule greet patients check patients out and collect payments set up treatment plans and payment plans

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Licensed dental assistant with valid certifications in coronal polishing, radiographs, sealants, and BLS Minimum one year of experience in a dental office setting (pediatric office preferred) Proficient in dental terminology and procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently

Schedule:
