Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic dental hygienistwho loves building and maintaining positive relationships withpatients to join our team! Our team of dental hygienists perform avariety of preventative dental procedures as well as educatepatients on oral hygiene. From routine cleanings to oral healtheducation, you’ll be instrumental in helping our patients achieveand maintain their best smiles. In addition to technical duties,the dental hygienist will play an important role in teachingpatients appropriate oral hygiene techniques and offer counselingregarding good nutrition and its impact on oral health. We are bigon teamwork, so you’ll partner with the dentist(s) in your officeto provide the best treatment for your patients. Responsibilities:
ResponsibilitiesProvide oral hygiene services including thorough and gentleprophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, andapplication of cavity preventative agents such as fluorides andsealant applications Accurately chart a review of patient dentalhistory and update as necessary, patient’s periodontal health,record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely andin compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide assistance as directedby the dentist Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dentalpractice act
Qualifications:
