• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and ensuring patient comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary
• Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Requirements
• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including taking dental x-rays and using CAD software
• Familiarity with dental office software such as Eaglesoft or Epic for patient record management
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
• Ability to use aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
