Responsibilities & Duties:

Build and maintain strong relationships with patients. Explain dental procedures in simple, patient-friendly terms. Review treatment plans with patients based on the doctor’s recommendations. Understand dental insurance coverage, limitations, frequencies, and deductibles. Process primary and secondary insurance claims efficiently. Assist patients with financing options, including credit applications. Provide administrative and practical support to the dentist as needed. Proactively contact patients with unscheduled treatment or hygiene recalls during downtime.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma (required). Previous dental experience (required). Experience with Open Dental software (preferred). Dental assisting skills (a plus). Knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols. Excellent customer service and leadership skills. Strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
