East Cobb Family Dentistry – part of Dental Whale Practice Group(DWPG) – is looking for an experienced RDH to join our fun andtalented close-knit team as we strive to provide exemplary,personalized dental care in a friendly, relaxing environment at anexcellent value. Key Responsibilities Prepares treatment room for patient byadhering to prescribed procedures and protocols Prepares patientfor dental hygiene treatment Maintains instrumentation for dentalhygiene treatment Selects materials and equipment for dentalhygiene visit by evaluating patient’s oral health Completes dentalprophylaxis Deliver direct dental hygiene patient care to patientsas assigned Make impressions of patients’ teeth for study casts,mouth guards or whitening Detects disease by completing oral cancerscreening Applies fluorides and other cavity- preventing agentsFabricates restorations, cleans and polishes removable appliancesProvide chair-side assistance to dentist Educates patients bygiving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions andpostoperative instructions; providing reminders of next dentalhygiene visit Documents dental hygiene services Maintains patientconfidence and protects operations by keeping informationconfidential Maintains safe and clean working environment bycomplying with procedures, rules, and regulations Protects patientsand employees by adhering to infection-control policies andprotocols Ensures operation of dental equipment by completingpreventive maintenance requirements Maintains professional andtechnical knowledge by attending educational workshopsQualifications Associates or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygieneRegistered Dental Hygiene License from the state of GA CurrentCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)certifications Knowledge of Open Dental and XDR Possess outstandingtime management and communication skills Ability to work within ateam for the good of the patient and practice Passion for continuedimprovement of skills and exceptional patient experience Strongsense of accountability and integrity Benefits Medical insuranceDental insurance Vision insurance Disability and Life Insurance401k plan 10 days of paid time off per year 7 paid holidays peryear (includes a floating holiday of your choice) Complimentarydental care for employee and family members (within companyguidelines) Complimentary CE Take your career to the next level -join the pod!
