compliant. The Position As a Registered DentalHygienist (RDH) with DWPG, you will have the support you need togrow your career with best-in-class training. Part-Time Schedule:

Monday 7-4, Tuesday 12-7, Friday 7-2 and oneSaturday a month 8-2 Key Responsibilities Prepares treatment roomfor patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocolsPrepares patient for dental hygiene treatment Maintainsinstrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening,sterilizing, and selecting instruments Selects materials andequipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient’s oralhealth Completes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stainsfrom teeth and from beneath gum margins Deliver direct dentalhygiene patient care to patients as assigned Make impressions ofpatients’ teeth for study casts, mouth guards or whitening Detectsdisease by completing oral cancer screening Applies fluorides andother cavity- preventing agents Fabricates restorations, cleans andpolishes removable appliances Provide chair-side assistance todentist in the performance of special tests, procedures, andcomplex treatments as needed Educates patients by giving oralhygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperativeinstructions; providing reminders of next dental hygiene visitDocuments dental hygiene services by recording vital signs andmedical and dental histories; charting in patient records Maintainspatient confidence and protects operations by keeping informationconfidential Maintains safe and clean working environment bycomplying with procedures, rules, and regulations Protects patientsand employees by adhering to infection-control policies andprotocols Ensures operation of dental equipment by completingpreventive maintenance requirements Maintains professional andtechnical knowledge by attending educational workshopsQualifications Perio therapy skills required Associates orBachelor’s degree in dental hygiene Georgia Registered DentalHygiene License Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) andBasic Life Support (BLS) certifications Possess outstanding timemanagement and communication skills Ability to work within a teamfor the good of the patient and practice Passion for continuedimprovement of skills and exceptional patient experience Strongsense of accountability and integrity Take your dental career tothe next level – join the pod!
