- Current dental hygienistlicense in MS and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dentalhygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge ofdentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening andmedical history documentation
- CPR Certification PreferredExperience
- Clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope,Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medicalrecord systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinicalskills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care andoverall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs asrequired by office Physical Requirements
- Ability to performessential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift andcarry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtualtraining sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

Thisis a standard requirement for dental office roles and must becompleted prior to starting employment.
