PartTime Dental Hygienist Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Build strongrelationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positiveexperienceScreening patients and providing quality care duringcheck-upsEducating patients in oral hygiene technique and workingwith patients and their oral hygiene careReviewing patient’shistory and chartingAdministers prophylactic treatment by scalingand polishingDocuments area of existing restorationsUse ofX-raySupport the dentist with procedures asneeded

Qualifications:

Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state ofNorth CarolinaStrong communication skills and a compassionate,patient-focused approachCurrent BLS/CPR certificationsMaintainannual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training1 or more years ofRDH clinical experience preferred – new grads are welcome toapply!

Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patienteducation, and competent with gum therapyExperience with dentalpractice softwareSeeking a new team collaborator that is open,positive and flexibleLocal Anesthesia certification or is willingto obtain one
