- Current dental hygienistlicense in North Carolinaand an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree indental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge ofdentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening andmedical history documentation
- CPR Certification PreferredExperience
- New Grads and experienced hygiensit are encouraged toapply.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner,digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire tocontinue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs ofpatients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance ofpatients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by officePhysical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties asdeemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dentalwith orwithout reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may bemade to enable individuals with disabilities to perform theessential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting andstanding
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirementfor dental office roles and must be completed prior to startingemployment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employmentprocess, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided.
