Dental Hygienist Position Available In Bergen, New Jersey

• Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patient.
• Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests.
• Completes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and from beneath gum margins.
• Apply fluoride, and place sealants.
• Educates patients by giving oral hygiene instructions and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions; providing reminders of time of next dental hygiene visit.

• Dental Hygienist Required Skills/ Experience:

• Associate Degree or Bachelor in Dental Hygiene required
• Current state license required (active)
• 2+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Experience working with kids
