We’re seeking a Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.
How you’ll make us better:
Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of a Dentist. Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the Ultimate Patient Experience is delivered to every patient
Screening patients during checkups
Clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and gums
Examine for indications of oral cancer
Reviewing a patient’s dental and medical history
Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately
Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
Performing preventive dental care
ing fluoride treatments
Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Prerequisites for success:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
State Hygiene License required
Current CPR Certificate required
Current Hepatitis B vaccination required
Ability to administer local anesthetic agents required
Minimum one (1) year of previous Pediatric Dental experience required
