Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for pediatric patients. Utilize dental terminology and systems effectively during patient interactions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including review of medical history. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices tailored for children. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for scheduling and record management. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on the latest pediatric dentistry techniques and best practices. Requirements Proven experience as a dental hygienist, preferably in a pediatric setting. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to pediatric dentistry. Familiarity with dental terminology, systems, and documentation review processes. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and their guardians. Ability to create a welcoming environment that encourages positive patient experiences. Certification as a Dental Hygienist with an active state license is required. Experience with Dentrix is highly desirable but not mandatory. Saturdays to start with more days in the future.
