  • Current dental hygienist licensein GA and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene(where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dentalhygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical historydocumentation
  • CPR Certification Preferred Experience
  • Any yearsof clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent,digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical recordsystems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills tomeet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overallmaintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as requiredby office Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essentialduties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ HeartlandDentalwith or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential duties of the position
  • Prolonged periodssitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions(or in-person) periodically throughout the year
  • As part of ourcommitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for bothteam members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required forall new hires in dental office positions.

This is a standardrequirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior tostarting employment.
