We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to fill in temporarily on our team in providing exceptional oral health care to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and be passionate about promoting dental hygiene and educating patients on maintaining their oral health. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure a comfortable and informative experience for our patients. Specific dates we are seeking help: Any Monday June 18,19,24,25,26,30, 2025 July 14,15,16,17, 2025 August 5,6,7, 2025 Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the management of the dental clinic environment, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide support with patients of all ages, ensuring a friendly and reassuring atmosphere for all our patients. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in general dentistry preferred; familiarity with dental assisting is a plus. Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques and vital sign monitoring. Proficiency in maintaining medical records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric patients. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting oral health awareness.
