Responsibilities:

Performs the duties of a licensed dental hygienist in an integrated Family Medicine dental practice, operating under the supervision of the McLeod Family Medicine Residency Director of Integrated Oral Health. Provides quality dental services to patients of all ages and periodontal stages. Follows proper infection control standards and procedures. Collects necessary data for quality assurance and reporting. Participates in teaching the integrated oral health curriculum as directed by the Director of Integrated Oral Health Performs other duties as necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of the McLeod integrated oral health program. Other duties may include but are not limited to: community outreach, patient navigation, liaison to program partners (community dentists, academic institutions, rural health programs), activities to promote integrated oral health across the McLeod Health system
