Responsibilities:

Conduct initial oral assessment and check health history. Assist in diagnosis of oral conditions like gingivitis, caries, periodontitis, etc. Perform dental cleaning procedures such as scaling, root planing, debridement, and polishing teeth. Apply preventative materials to patients’ teeth (fluoride, sealants, etc). Educate patients of all ages on proper oral care. Take X-rays or dental impressions. Collaborate with dentists and other staff to ensure comprehensive dental services and practice operations are delivered smoothly. Maintain accurate and proper documentation on patient charts Sterilize dental instruments properly. Monitor supplies and inventory used in hygiene.

Requirements:

Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in Tennessee Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred but new grads welcome! In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and dental hygiene procedures Experience in preparing, maintaining, and sterilizing dental equipment. Outstanding communication skills. A patient and friendly personality. Deliver gentle, patient-centered care, including for those with high anxiety. Attention to detail while being able to multi-task. Proficiency with practice management software.
