Dental Assistant/Sterilization Technician Stanley R. McCardle, D.M.D. | Family Dentistry 812 Mitchell St, Headland, AL 36345 We are in search of an experienced Dental Assistant to join our esteemed dental practice. A minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred. Your role will involve assisting the dentist during patient treatments, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients, providing support to colleagues, and maintaining a clean and efficient office environment. We may request a working interview, and your compensation will be determined based on your experience level. While familiarity with Open Dental is a plus, it’s not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after patient visits. Explain pre and post-operative procedures and care instructions to patients. Review patients’ medical history. Handle digital X-rays. Ensure a sterile treatment environment. Sterilize dental instruments. Pour models and take impressions. Maintain accurate documentation (mandatory). Create temporary prostheses. Adjust and deliver dental prostheses. Fulfill any additional tasks assigned by the dentist.
