The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to strict infection control protocols. This role is crucial in supporting the overall safety and efficiency of our dental practice, while also assisting in various clinical tasks as needed. Duties Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment using appropriate techniques and methods. Maintain accurate medical documentation of sterilization processes and equipment usage. Assist dental professionals during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available. Utilize 3D scanners and X-ray technology as required, adhering to safety protocols. Implement aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures. Understand and apply dental terminology effectively in communication with team members. Support infection control measures by regularly cleaning and disinfecting work areas. Stay updated on best practices in sterilization, infection control, and prosthodontics. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental or medical setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and infection control standards is essential. Strong understanding of dental terminology and prosthodontics is advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Must be able to follow strict protocols for safety and hygiene.
