Work Location:
Bradenton, FL As part of this role, you will: Ensures instruments are sterilized as soon as feasible when received into central sterilization Adheres to enhanced infection control protocols and PPE requirements to reduce transmission of COVID-19 and other pathogens Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments, dental supplies and equipment, and assembles wraps and sterilizes trays of instruments Follows proper standard precautions while in decontamination and sterilization areas Monitors biological and chemical solution to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and dental equipment Conducting inspections of instruments and sterilization machines Verifies that equipment functions properly and maintained per manufacturer’s instructions What you need to bring to this role: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of dental process and procedures preferred The Dental Sterilization Technician (DST) is responsible for keeping medical instruments clean, sanitized, organized, and ready for use throughout the day. The DST is also responsible for the setup/breakdown of treatment rooms. •MCR Health is a drug-free workplace.
