Job Description
Dental Technician 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Palm Beach, FL 33480 We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing dental appliances such as dentures, crowns, and bridges, according to the dentist’s prescriptions and specifications.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret dental prescriptions from dentists. Fabricate dental appliances using a variety of materials (ceramics, metals, plastics) and techniques (molding, casting, sculpting). Repair and adjust dental appliances as necessary for proper fit and function. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all work processes. Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Stay updated on industry advancements and new dental technologies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Dental Technician or similar role. Proficiency in using dental laboratory equipment and tools. Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certification or diploma from an accredited dental technology program (preferred). Current knowledge of dental materials and techniques.
