Objectives of this Role Perform necessary repairs and refinements to dental appliances, ensuring high-quality margins, consistent contacts, proper occlusion, and custom shades that match the patient’s natural dentition, as specified in the Rx. Review each Rx thoroughly and inspect all work entering and exiting the lab to ensure compliance with quality standards and client expectations. Participate actively in the manufacturing process, ensuring that all units are built to meet strict production and quality guidelines. Work daily with a range of materials including plastics, ceramics, and metals, using models based on dental impressions. Support continuous improvement efforts in the quality department by identifying areas for enhancement in product quality, manufacturing efficiency, or shipping accuracy. Assist in the implementation of updated protocols and procedures to align with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Verify the accuracy of tooth dimensions and occlusion using micrometers, articulators, and other precision tools. Perform light polishing of metal and acrylic appliances using a lathe, ensuring a smooth and professional finish. Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail across all assigned duties in both manufacturing and quality inspection phases. Communicate promptly with the Quality Control Manager regarding any defects, quality concerns, or deviations from specifications or client expectations. Provide technical support for incoming inquiries, including case consultations and troubleshooting for internal and external partners. Participate in routine quality audits and contribute to documentation and tracking of quality metrics. Assist in training and mentoring new technicians on quality expectations, manufacturing protocols, and best practices. Prepare finished cases for shipment, including accurate boxing, labeling, documentation, and coordination with the shipping department to ensure timely and correct deliveries. Monitor and support shipping quality, ensuring cases are packaged to prevent damage and meet customer expectations. Skills and Qualifications Prior experience in a dental laboratory, manufacturing, or a related technical field. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, appliance fabrication, and restorative principles. Excellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and visual attention to detail. General computer skills and familiarity with basic software applications. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with PTC training methods and industry-standard procedures. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of digital dental technologies, manufacturing tools, and case tracking systems.

Location:

Our network of dental laboratories spans six states, with labs in Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Texas, and New York. The Leixir Home Office is in Tampa, Florida. Information Screening :

The Talent Manager will have a 20-to-30-minute phone conversation focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and answering any questions you may have.

Panel Interview :

45-minute interview with the Operations Manager. This will take place at the lab and will dive deeper into the role, technical knowledge, and requirements of the position. The candidate will have the opportunity to meet the team, tour the workplace, and gain a better understanding of the job’s functions.

Offer :

The Talent Manager will reach out with the details of the informal offer for discussion. After all the details of the informal offer are finalized, the formal offer letter and job description will be sent. At this time, we will complete a background check.
