The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and sterilization practices are maintained. This position is essential for supporting our clinical staff in providing safe and effective care to our patients, particularly in pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry settings. Responsibilities Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment following established protocols to ensure compliance with infection control standards. Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and monitor the effectiveness of sterilization systems. Operate medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners, while adhering to safety protocols. Support the dental team by preparing treatment areas, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available. Conduct regular inspections of sterilization equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly. Uphold cleanliness and organization within the sterilization area and dental opratory rooms, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Requirements Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with knowledge of infection control practices. Familiarity with Dentrix software systems is a plus. Experience in assisting with medical imaging procedures, including X-ray operations is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating excellent communication skills. Certification in sterilization techniques or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
