Buffalo, NY 14217 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring high-quality standards in accordance with dental prescriptions. This role requires a strong understanding of dental laboratory procedures and the ability to work collaboratively with dental professionals to meet patient needs. Duties Fabricate dental crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices using various materials and techniques. Utilize software for designing and creating dental restorations Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation of all laboratory work performed. Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory systems for efficient workflow. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans and specifications. Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental laboratory setting is preferred; however, entry-level candidates with relevant training will be considered. Proficiency in CEREC work flow and CAD software for dental applications is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of infection control practices within a medical or dental environment. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques related to dentistry is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence in task execution.
