Dental Sterilization Technician Progressive Family Dentistry 100 Harth Place, Summerville, SC 29485 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for both patients and staff. Duties Perform sterilization of dental instruments according to established protocols. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored. Monitor sterilization processes and maintain sterilization logs and adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control. Assist in the preparation of instruments for procedures. Assist dental professionals in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Organize and restock sterilization areas Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and report any shortages. Stay updated on best practices in sterilization techniques and infection control and follow established protocols to protect patients and staff.
