We are looking for someone to work along side our dental assistants to clean and sterilize our dental equipment, make our retainers in our lab with a 3D printer, and assist with collecting records for our amazing patients. This position requires attention to detail and someone who is able to follow strict sterilization/disinfection protocols, while also maintaining a positive demeanor. While a RDA or someone with dental experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Printing 3D models and creating essix retainers. Coordinates and tracks appliance orders between outside laboratories and vendors ensuring compliance with quality and specification standards. Coordinates lab activities with clinic and front desk. Performs lab equipment and machinery maintenance as required. Maintains lab supply inventory. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to enhanced infection control protocols and PPE requirements. Process dental instruments and patient care items through the sterilization process safely and efficiently Maintain sterilization equipment, following manufacture maintenance guidelines and intervals Turn over operatories, transporting dirty instruments to the sterilization area for processing Set up treatment rooms for the next patient procedure Assist with ordering of clinical supplies Provide customer service support to patients by escorting them to and from the treatment area as needed Perform all record taking protocols (including intraoral scans, x-rays, and intraoral and extraoral photographs). Responsible for maintaining images for all new patients and patients ready for deband. Cross train in other positions as needed.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs:
Dolphin, Google G Suite:
docs, drive, sheets, email, calendar. Ability to communicate and work well with not only the office manager, but the orthodontist, dental assistants, lab technician and treatment coordinator.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Registered Dental Assistant preferred. Dental office experience preferred. Radiology certification in the state of Tennessee preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. Have hand dexterity to use pliers to bend wires to construct multiple types of appliances.
