Access tomentorship opportunities to further your career. Job Details We arecurrently seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Dentist tojoin our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role isan exceptional opportunity to contribute to a thriving medicalpractice that prioritizes the oral health and overall well-being ofchildren. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible forproviding comprehensive dental care for infants, children, andadolescents, including those with special health care needs. Thisposition requires a candidate with a strong background in pediatricdentistry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitmentto patient care. Responsibilities 1. Provide comprehensive oralhealth care that includes the following: preventive dental care,dietary recommendations, and use of fluoride and sealants. 2.Diagnose and treat dental decay, oral diseases, and injuries. 3.Manage dental trauma and emergencies. 4. Educate and counselchildren and their parents about preventive dental care, diet, andother aspects of oral health. 5. Conduct oral screenings and riskassessments for infants and children. 6. Develop and maintain atreatment plan for patients with special health care needs. 7.Maintain patient records and documentation. 8. Collaborate withother healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive healthcareplan for the patient. 9. Stay updated with the latest developmentsin pediatric dentistry and participate in continuous professionaldevelopment activities.
Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Dental Surgery(DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accrediteddental school. 2. Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry Residencyfrom an accredited program. 3. Current, valid license to practicedentistry in the state (required). 4. Exceptional clinical skillsin all aspects of pediatric dentistry. 5. Excellent interpersonaland communication skills to interact effectively with children,parents, and staff. 6. Ability to handle a high volume of patientswhile maintaining high-quality care. 7. Strong commitment toongoing education and staying abreast of the latest trends andadvancements in pediatric dentistry. 8. Ability to workcollaboratively with a team, demonstrating professionalism andrespect to contribute positively to the work environment.
