On demand / Temp Dentist needed!!! Litchfield Center Dental Litchfield, CT 06759 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to help our dental practice to cover semi-regular bases, once a month and on-demand for doctor’s vacation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. Duties Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose dental issues including hygiene recall patients. Perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Utilize dental terminology accurately in patient assessments and treatment plans. Document patient care accurately in medical records using dental software. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Collaborate with dental hygienists and office staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Experience Proven knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and understanding of dental terminology. Experience with dental fabrication techniques is preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation practices is essential. Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
