The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support in various aspects of dental assisting, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. This role requires a strong understanding of dental systems and protocols, particularly in endodontics settings, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are sterilized and ready for use. Utilize TDO software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Operate 3D scanners as needed for imaging purposes, ensuring accurate capture of dental structures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Requirements Previous experience in dental assisting is mandatory, particularly in endodontics is preferred. Familiarity with TDO or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable. Knowledge of infection control standards and HIPAA regulations is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients, families, and team members. A proactive attitude towards learning new systems and techniques related to dental care is encouraged.
