Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced General Dentist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing comprehensive oral health services to patients of all ages, with a strong commitment to serving medically underserved populations. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing oral health issues, including emergency care, preventive services, and basic restorative procedures, in a culturally sensitive and patient-focused environment. As a member of our collaborative healthcare team, you will be expected to see 12-16 patients per day and contribute to improving community health outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Deliver high-quality preventive, restorative, and emergency dental services. Interpret dental radiographs and utilize digital imaging technology. Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment options. Maintain accurate, up-to-date dental records using an Electronic Dental Record (EDR) system. Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and other clinical staff to provide integrated care. Ensure compliance with FQHC, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinical quality standards. Participate in peer review, quality improvement activities, and clinical meetings. Support outreach, education, and community engagement efforts when needed. Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school. Current, unrestricted Florida Dental License. DEA Registration and current CPR/BLS certification required. Minimum 3 years of general dentistry experience preferred (FQHC experience a plus). Proficiency in electronic dental records and digital radiography. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passion for providing care to underserved and diverse populations. Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred .
