Dentist – FL 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Florida We are seeking a skilled Endodontist for a locum tenens position in Florida. This 12-day assignment at a Dental Clinic requires coverage for one day per week, 8am to 5pm with a morning huddle at 7:40am, starting from 06/23/2025. The endodontist will be responsible for providing general endodontic services, including root canal treatments, managing calcified canals, performing apicectomies, treating pulpitis, addressing cracked teeth/fractures, and handling root resorption cases. The provider will work with direct support staff and on-site dentists, seeing approximately 8 patients per day (1 patient per hour) in a 2-chair operatory setting.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform root canal treatments and retreatments Manage complex cases involving calcified canals Conduct apicectomy procedures Diagnose and treat pulpitis Address cracked teeth and dental fractures Handle root resorption cases Collaborate with support staff and on-site dentists for all cases Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Denticon system Participate in morning huddles to discuss daily schedules and patient care Provide patient education on endodontic procedures and post-treatment care Ensure compliance with all clinic policies and infection control protocols Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment
Additional Information:
Must be licensed in Florida Experience with Denticon dental software preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, seeing 1 patient per hour Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential Ability to adapt to the clinic’s scheduling based on provider availability to learn more!
