Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic team at Greater Dental Health. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in various surgical procedures, with a focus on All-on-X implant restorations and wisdom teeth extractions. This position requires proficiency in medical documentation, infection control, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care. Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and consultations to determine the appropriate surgical interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation throughout the surgical process, including patient histories, consent forms, and post-operative notes. Collaborate with dental professionals in areas such as general dentistry, endodontics, and dental extractions. Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment during surgeries. Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during surgical procedures. Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in surgery or relevant specialty preferred. Proven experience in a surgical setting with a strong understanding of dental fabrication processes. Proficiency in using Dentrix software for managing patient records and appointments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of care. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently while providing compassionate patient care.
