Dr. Nathan Burns and his incredible team at Great Big Smilesseek an outstanding and motivated pediatric dentist to treat agrowing community of patients in the Greater New Orleans area. Thisfull-time position is the perfect opportunity for a pediatricdentist looking to join a wonderful team-driven practice and expandtheir clinical skills while reaching their highest earningpotential. At Great Big Smiles, our goal is to be and always be thepremier pediatric dental practice in the Greater New Orleans Area.
We do this by providing outstanding customer service and superiorpediatric dental healthcare in a safe, comfortable, efficient, andloving manner. Dr. Nathan Burns and his team offer comprehensivepediatric dental care, including orthodontic services and wisdomtooth removal. From birth to braces and beyond, we have ourpatients covered. The office is equipped with all digital softwareand x-rays and can provide nitrous, conscious oral sedation, andin-office IV sedation. We complete all OR cases at the nearbyChildren’s Hospital of New Orleans. As a pediatric dentalassociate, your responsibilities would include checking hygienepatients and completing restorative procedures under nitrous,conscious oral sedation, IV sedation, and in the OR. The associatewould not be responsible for orthodontic or wisdom tooth services.
A typical work week would be seeing patients Monday
- Thursday 8:00
- 4:30. Fridays rotate between half days 8:00
- 12:00, OR days, andIV sedation days.
The Great Big Smiles office location is inMetairie, LA. Metairie is one of the first suburbs of New Orleans,being only 6 miles from downtown New Orleans. Metairie is home tothe training facility and corporate headquarters of the New OrleansSaints and New Orleans Pelicans. People of New Orleans love tocelebrate and socialize, as there is a festival almost everyweekend of the year. Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest are the largestfestivals and attract tourists from all over the world.

Qualifications:
ValidLouisiana state dental license (or in the process of obtaining, canhelp obtain if needed). Louisiana does offer licensure bycredentials. Pediatric Specialty Certificate required
