Responsibilities:

• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
• Conduct routine dental examinations and cleanings
• Diagnose oral diseases and conditions
• Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Skills:

• Proficient in medical coding for dental procedures
• Knowledge of vital signs and ability to monitor patients during procedures
• Familiarity with medical records management systems, such as Epic
• Experience with medical imaging techniques, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design)
• Strong patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office environment
