Job Description
The Licensed Family Dentist is responsible for providing routine andpreventative dental care to CHP patients as well as emergency andsurgical dental procedures. This position supports positive patientoutcomes through promotion and education of oral health and diseaseprevention. The Dentist contributes to a work environment that iscaring, collaborative, and innovative. This person will support CHP’smission, vision, and values and will adhere to compliance protocols aswell as CHP’s policies and procedures.

Licensed Family DentistEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides routine andpreventative oral care; examines, diagnoses, and treats dental/oralconditions; carries out-or directs others in carrying out appropriatedental/oral treatment or refers patients out for specialtyconsultation.
- Records patient encounters as they occur in thepatient’s dental record; educates patients on oral health relatedconditions and disease prevention through outreach opportunities;oversees the administration of appropriate dental care by dental supportstaff.
- Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieveorganizational goals and objectives as appropriate to the practice ofdentistry; engages in ideas and activities specific to patientsatisfaction.

- Successful completion of doctoral degree in dentalmedicine.
