Orthodontist Position Available In Rockingham, New Hampshire

Orthodontist New England Dental Group Londonderry, NH 03053 Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, providing patients with a healthy and beautiful smile. This role requires a strong understanding of orthodontic principles, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental clinic environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine orthodontic needs and treatment options. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and preferences. Utilize various orthodontic appliances, including braces and aligners, to correct misaligned teeth and jaws. Perform dental extractions as necessary to facilitate orthodontic treatment. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining their orthodontic appliances. Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in orthodontics and related technologies. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program. Proficiency in endodontics, general dentistry, and knowledge of dental terminology. Familiarity with dental practice management software is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
