Oral Surgeon II Dental Howard Beach, NY 11414 Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in surgical procedures, particularly in oral surgery and prosthodontics. This role requires a commitment to patient care, adherence to aseptic techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental clinic environment. The Surgeon will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Responsibilities Perform surgical procedures related to oral surgery and prosthodontics with precision and care. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques to prevent infection during surgeries. Collaborate with dental clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Review and maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients. Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient information and treatment plans effectively. Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups to monitor patient recovery. Educate patients on post-surgical care and infection control measures to promote healing. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and advancements. Experience Proven experience as a Surgeon, with a focus on oral surgery or prosthodontics preferred. Strong understanding of dental office operations, including familiarity with medical records management. Demonstrated proficiency in infection control practices within a clinical setting. Experience with dental fabrication processes is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and documentation.
