Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to root canal therapy, extractions, fillings, and preventive care. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Document medical histories, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately in medical records. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient care efficiency. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive measures to maintain their dental health. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible. Manage patient interactions with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience at the dental clinic. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid NY state dental license to practice dentistry, in good standing. 1-2 years Experience dentistry is preferred but NOT required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of dentistry.
