Associate General Dentist Dental Smilez 2 Maple Avenue, Clintondale, NY 12515 Part Time – plz advise available days when applying Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment experience. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, from routine check-ups to complex dental surgeries, while maintaining a focus on patient education and preventive care. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health. Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent infection. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Epic or similar systems. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care. Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education as required. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices. Experience with dental fabrication techniques is preferred. Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining patient records. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a busy dental office setting.
