Description:

Sanders Search Group (SSG) is urgently recruiting a licensed Dentist to provide clinical dental services to youth at a secure juvenile facility in Columbia, SC . Services will be provided at a state-run clinic, servicing youth.

Responsibilities:

Conduct dental exams and diagnostics using Panorex, Bitewing, and Periapical X-rays Perform composite fillings, sealants, prophylaxis, fluoride treatment Provide local anesthesia, and simple extractions (complex referred out) Place crowns (PFM or gold) with dental lab support Update dental clinic policies and procedures Serve as Dental Director and Medical Committee member

Support Provided:

Full-time on-site dental assistant Fully equipped, modern dental clinic No third molar extractions, root canals, or orthodontics required (referred out)

Requirements:

Active SC Dental License Previous experience with youth or in institutional settings preferred Comfortable in a secure environment

Schedule:

Flexible part-time or contract schedule (Preferred 3 days – 8:30am – 4:30pm)
