Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or GED, required.

Experience:

One year dialysis experience, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Current CCHT licensure in appropriate state within 18 months, required.

Additional skills required:

Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Thorough knowledge of dialysis equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Good communication skills and has ability to set priorities and organize the workload of the unit regarding dialysis equipment. Capable of functioning alone in water equipment room. Working knowledge of various types of dialysis and water treatment equipment. Able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
